The six parts of Mallorca
The longest stretch of ridable road on this island that never offers you a junction runs 18.3 km through the Serra de Tramuntana. For 18 km there is no decision to make and no way to shorten the day. Guides divide Mallorca by terrain, so none of them mentions it. Divide the same island by the shape of its road network and the six parts sort differently, and two of them have no extreme at all.
Together the six cover the whole island: every one of the island's 5,082 km of rideable road belongs to exactly one of them. Palma is a twelfth the size of the Serra de Tramuntana and gets the same page.

The regions with no extreme
Two of the six — Raiguer and Llevant — are neither highest nor lowest on any of the four measures. They do not have the most road with no way round or the least, nor the most junctions or the fewest. With no superlative to put in a headline, guides leave them out. If you want a week with nothing extreme about it in any direction, these are the place to look.

Ten publishers make claims about parts of this island: quiet lanes, no traffic, circular rides from the villages. Each claim is checked against the road data in the regions guide. Five of the six comarques are named by at least one publisher, and some claims hold up better than others.
What a comarca actually is
A comarca of Mallorca is not a layer of government. There is no comarcal council and no comarcal boundary in law. The six-part division measured here is a geographer's — Ferran Dídac Lluch i Dubon's, published in 1994 — and its own reference literature says plainly that it carries no official rank. It is built out of whole municipalities, which is what makes it stable enough to measure a road network against, and it was drawn to describe relief and settlement rather than traffic. So a road that feels like the Raiguer, the strip along the foot of the mountains, can belong to the Pla, the central plain.

This is a tertiary source and is labelled as one: it is cited for the status of the division, which is a negative fact (no instrument creates these boundaries), and a negative fact has no primary document to cite by construction.
